Patrick has been teaching at the Seufert Art Studio for 10 years. He has a B.F.A. from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. In addition to teaching Patrick is also a full time artist.

Basic techniques of oil painting including learning how to mix colors & apply paint to canvas. Also emphasized is the proper use & handling of oil paint materials.

All students (unless you have taken classes with Patrick before) must send images of their work (painting and/or drawing) to pts@patrickseufert.com before registering.

Materials: Students can purchase ALL required art supplies at a discounted price at our studio. A complete supply list will be e-mailed to you before the first class. For those who don’t have any oil painting supplies the cost (when purchasing at the studio) is approximately $180. Supplies may be purchased elsewhere but please notify Patrick as to which brands you plan on purchasing.
