For information about each class, please read the DESCRIPTION provided for each one offered. Please read our CLASS POLICIES PAGE in regards to MAKE-UPS, etc. We DO NOT require a REGISTRATION fee, but we do add the credit card fee when registering for a class, online.
Private lessons are offered by both Alice Seufert and Patrick Seufert for $60. per hour. Call to set up an appointment, if interested.
All works shown were rendered by students who attend or have attended Seufert Art Studio, unless an * is next to it. * indicates, rendered by an Instructor at SAS.
WORKSHOP COURSES: These COURSES are designed so that a student may concentrate on one area of study in the visual arts. All Workshop courses are for 1 hour and 30 minutes in length, 10 week semester. (Fall, Winter & Spring semesters) A 9 week semester is offered during the Summer, for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Classes are limited to 10 students to maximize individual attention.
Cost for ALL Workshops: $216. *subject to change.
All workshop students must have completed Fundamentals/Intermediate Drawing and Advanced Drawing as a prerequisite to taking these courses.* OR they must be able to show a proficient portfolio indicating that their skills are ready for these courses.
Exceptions include: ANY Cartooning course, Anime/Manga or Abstract Pastel.
ADULTS are not required to take prerequisite courses. (although it is highly recommended) ADULTS may sign up for ANY course listed.
Students will provide their own art supplies. A supply list will be provided at the first class of EACH workshop. ALL supplies can be purchased at the first class, at the SAS. 10% discount. Minimum supplies needed FOR ALL WORKSHOPS (except W/C and Chalk Media) are: 1 - HB fine art graphite pencil, 1 - kneaded eraser, 1 - Strathmore (brand name) spiral bound sketch book. Either purchase at 1st class (approx. price: $20.) or bring to 1st class.

Robert J. Seufert, B.F.A. Tyler School of Art, Temple University. MASTER INSTRUCTOR. Robert has had set times for his classes for over 40 years. He also has had students continue with him for many, many years. Students continue studying oil painting with Robert because of the high quality, professional instruction and the personal interest he takes with each and every student.
Enrollment changes from semester to semester. New students/beginner students will be taught the basic techniques of oil painting and the proper use and care of all oil materials. (brush care, proper disposal of oil products, etc.) Most veteran students choose their own subject matter, including Landscape oil painting, Portrait oil painting, florals and Still Life oil painting. Beginning oil students start with a simple still life.
A full running course is for 9 weeks, 2 hrs. per week, TUITION: $279. (does not include credit card fee) (with a credit card fee it would be: $290.) (If you choose to pay with a credit card, you must come to the studio in person to register.) (Otherwise you can pay with a personal check. (YOU CAN STILL JOIN THE COURSE, EVEN IF THE COURSE IS UNDERWAY, THE TUITION WOULD BE PRO-RATED ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF WEEKS REMAINING.)

Robert accepts personal checks, which would be payable to: SEUFERT ART STUDIO. Robert will CONFIRM your placement in one of his classes over the phone and then in order to HOLD your seat, you must mail in the tuition of $279. within a week of the start-up date of the course.
