INSTRUCTOR: Known as an urban painter, much of Patrick’s oils are inspired by the city of Philadelphia, where he has lived for the past 10 years. After receiving his BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple U., Philadelphia, he developed a process of painting in a hyperrealistic style. His unique style has proven to be exceptional, in that it granted him acceptance into many prestigious national juried shows, such as Allied Artists of America, OPA and NOAPS. Over the past 15 years, Patrick’s oils have won numerous prizes, including many Best of Show, Best Landscape, First Prize in Oils & Merit Awards, across the U.S.

He has exhibited in NYC and Philadelphia galleries in the past. Articles on his work have appeared in various suburban Philadelphia magazines and newspapers, including the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Bucks County Magazine (Spring ‘26), and the national publication, Canvas Rebel.

Besides Philadelphia, he has also depicted Washington, D.C., NYC, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Denver, Lancaster, New Haven, Burlington (VT), Newark (NJ), the coasts of Maine and Delaware as well as (rural) New Hampshire. Patrick’s work is presently included in the Allied Artists International Exhibition, online.
